Second Jumper On Hillard Bridge, 3rd Suicide In 8 Days

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Image
A sixty-five year old male jumped off the Hillard Bridge today around noon.

This would be the second person jumping from the bridge in 8 days.

Also a couple days ago a man jumped off of an apartment at the Winton Place, and was
killed when he landed on the roof, of the entrance.

PLEASE, if you know of anyone going through tough times, take some time, talk with them,
let them know it is only temporary, whatever they are going through.

So very sad :(

And yes, there are so many great resources out there for those who know someone who might need some help. The mobile crisis team for Cuyahoga County has a 24/7 hotline that can be called 216-623-6888. You can also call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK and if a situation is dire, and you believe someone is in immediate danger of harming themselves or others, call 9-1-1.
