Natasha Turovsky Shines In Beck Café Show Kick Off

It is also Natasha's work that adorns the outside of the Beck Center. Natasha was in town
for the opening of her show, and I have to admit the Beck Center, Beck Café and Beck
Café owner Paul Sykes sure know how to throw an art opening! Wonderful party, for
some wonderful art and a very talented artist. If you get a chance stop by and check it out.

This show is great! My kids loved walking around looking at it. Ms. Turovsky has animated versions of her art, with the 2 dimensions becoming 3 on a screen and dancing around to music. You can watch this on the TV in the cafe while having a cafe Americano (the best adult drink) and some hot chocolates and talking about the show. There are DVDs for sale of the video and I think there will be one in our stocking this Christmas. It's so cool.

A lot of the pieces are large and since all of our little artists (many of them) are going out to paint windows this Halloween, this might be a great first stop. Let them see how an amazing artist deals with space. Check out the piece above. Great activity for this weekend, and it's free!
