Get Your 6 CFL Lightbulbs From The Illuminating Company

Do you remember the plan by FirstEnergy to distribute two CFL lightbulbs to every customer?

The plan has changed. The bulbs are already paid for, and you can get up to six, but you have to ask for them.

If you want the bulbs, call The Illuminating Company at (888) 846-2235, give them your account number and they'll send you six 23-watt CFL bulbs -- each with the equivalent lumens of a 100-watt incandescent bulb.

Also, you can buy the same FirstEnergy CFL bulbs from Marc's Discount Stores, Discount Drug Mart and Dollar Tree Stores for 50 cents each.

I'm going to save the 50 cents each by calling and letting The Illuminating Company send them to me.
