Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Saturday night the Lakewood Library put on a tremendous show celebrating the life
and words of Poet Laureate Daniel Thompson.

The program was hosted by Kenneth Warren ex-Library Director of the Lakewood Public
Library and one of the true civic leaders of this city during his 25+years in town.

Some of the poets in attendance were: Larry Smith, Ben Gulyas, Barabara Klonowski,
Katie Daley, Maj Ragain,Suzanne Degaetano, Jim Lang, Bill Kennedy,
Bree Zlee, Steven B. Smith

Here are some of the images from the fun evening...

Bree Zlee hits the stage, as Tom Bullock, councilman for Lakewood Ward 2 listens.

Ben Gulyas reads from the back of the room, without introduction, something Daniel
would have appreciated. The words are the stars.
