Mad At Me? - LO Outreach

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Or have ideas on how I can do something better?

Need some clarification of some of my cryptic messages?

Stop by the Beck Cafe tonight between 7 and 8:45 and hold my feet to the fire.

As Margaret will be in cooking classes tonight, a gift from 2010, I
will be talking about Lakewood, the Observer, or anything tonight.

Stop by...

Have no car but can't, but oh so tempting.

:?: Are there any riots scheduled? They can really make parking a hassle.

Somebody take a weed wacker, Jim's hair needs another trimming. Oh sorry, this is about personal views and not appearance. I take back my hair suggestion.

Ed

Thanks for stopping by, it was another nice meeting with Lakewoodites. Funny, no clear
objective, but always much discussed and talked about and who knows maybe a better
understanding for all. One reason I love this city and project. WE put it all on the table,
and you handled the questions very well.

Sorry I ran out of Jim O'Bryan cryptic decoders, but will always be available to make any
statement clearer, or answer questions.

Thanks to all.

As usual, the meeting never REALLY gets going until S.D. gets there.

it was a great opportunity to have some city leaders make the issues of the non-similar less opaque.

Bret,

Agreed. Sorry I could not make it last night. S.D. is always good for at least one good Ezra Weston Loomis Pound quote.

While Steve is always good for a little common sense from just to the left of the center of
the universe. The real star in my mind was Meta, a woman possible older than myself that
spoke fluently about what the Lakewood Observer Project is and what it mean to her and her
friends. I wish Ken Warren had been there as I looked over at Steve, and realized people are
finally starting to understand what it means for a community to work together in the open so
that we as individuals have a voice and can own those words and ideas.

Another high point of many in this project.

I've always wanted to attend one of these meetings, but I work every Tuesday evening from 4-9. Any possibility of scheduling one on a night other than Tuesday (or Wednesday - I work then, too)?

Good idea, we will move them around, and have them on different nights.

We have a bunch of events coming up this summer as well.

Thanks for asking.
