The Lakewood City Schools Presents Ed Favre A Proclamation

At our March 21, 2011 regular school board meeting, the Board of Education, the Treasurer, and the Superintendent of Schools presented Edward Favre with the following proclamation:

Whereas: Edward Favre joined the Lakewood Police Department on October 7, 1973; and

Whereas: Edward Favre and his wife, Gladys, raised their four children, Stephany, Leslie, Ashley, and Brian, in the City of Lakewood and through the Lakewood City Schools; and

Whereas: Edward Favre served the Lakewood City Schools as a member of numerous commissions, committees, boosters, and Parent Teacher Associations; and

Whereas: Edward Favre joined the Lakewood City School District Board of Education in 1997 and is currently serving his fourth term; and

Whereas: Edward Favre’s extensive service to the City of Lakewood and the Lakewood City Schools has been instrumental in ensuring that all our families are provided with excellent living and educational opportunities; and

Whereas: Edward Favre completed a thirty-seven year, four month, and nineteen day career with the Lakewood Police Department on February 26, 2011.

Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Board of Education, the Treasurer, and the Superintendent of Schools hereby congratulate and thank Edward Favre for his service to the City of Lakewood as a member of the Lakewood Police Department and look forward to Edward Favre providing many years of future service to Lakewood and our families!

Again, thank you for your service to the City of Lakewood, Ed!
