Lakewood Lenten Fish Fries - Please List Yours Here

Post by sharon kinsella »

It would be really great if those of you who belong to a church or group doing Fish Fries, would list them here on the deck.

I completely forgot about the great opportunity Lent brings for great fried perch and home cooking by someone beside myself.

Thanks.

Thanks Bret. You listed one I had in mind. Now if the rest of the people who know of fish fries would list them it would be great.

the PD had a list of all the NEO fish fries in the area: http://www.cleveland.com/dining/index.s ... ast_o.html

I remember that the waterbury coach house had a good fish fry, but I haven't gone in a couple years..

Pilgrim is awesome, St. Luke's is good, St. Jame's is good, Rush Inn was good but, I have not gone for a couple of years. Mahall's does one as well. I will ask my dad, he'll know the best!

Ah yes, tonight I think we will be going to one of our favorite local fun, family friendly, and inexpensive spots

Mahall's Twenty Lanes Restaurant - 13200 Madison Ave, Lakewood, 521-3280.

They do Fish Fry Fridays and I always forget about it. Thanks for the reminder. Whether we eat in the restaurant looking out to Madison Ave. Or, it is likely the kids will talk us into bowling downstairs where we can eat and enjoy a beverage while the kids eat Macaroni & Cheese between bowling.

They also have Rock-A-Bowl for bigger kids and adults every Friday night 10pm to 1am. All you can bowl for $10. Look for upcoming ads for Mahall's in the Lakewood Observer. Or catch Feb. 9th issue for a coupon for a free order of french fries while you Rock-A-Bowl.

Don't forget Mahall's has bumper bowling, can do birthday and special occasion parties and fundraisers.

(I'm always grateful to Mahall's for letting various committee and organization meetings I've led or attended use their facility. Having the restaurant there is convenient for providing beverages and food when needed. just don't forget to come back and patronize their business in return.)

In fact, I'm going to make sure we are at Mahall's tonight from 6:30 to 8pm. We'll go ahead and be downstairs letting the kids bowl while we kick back. We would love any fellow Deckers to stop by and say hi or stay and join us.

Charlie and my kids are 6 and almost 4 years old. They'd love bowling buddies.
