Gardens At Kaufmann Park

The wife and I were back in Lakewood a couple weeks ago and saw that there are gardens at Kaufmann park. I did a fourm search and didn't get anything back. Whats the story behind these? We always love coming back up to Lakewood and hopefully sooner than later can move back!
