Ivor in today's Plain Dealer

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Ivor Karabatkovic has a photo in the Cleveland Plain Dealer today.

Section D, page two.

A photo of Lakewood High wrestlers.

He also has more on their website, as the PD reaches out
for more and more residents to help write the story.

Standing ovation to the man that gets awards, like most people breathe.
Ivor you continually make all of us very proud.

Also a pat on the back to the Plain Dealer for their move into civic journalism. (told you, you could do it)

it's funny...

Jim got in the paper, Ken was in the paper as well..and I thought to myself "which observer is next?"

well that night I had a dream that my photos were in the sports section so that inspired me to try and submit some stuff.

I've been waiting all week to hear back from the career development office at LHS to see if I can shadow a photographer in the PD. No news yet, but I'm hoping that I'll hear something from them soon.

Any tips for talking to them about freelancing?

No idea about that.

I just submitted photos through the "show off your spirit" contest that they have every week. People can submit any photo from any varsity sports event (up to 5 megs of photos) and they pick the best ones and put them online and print a few.
