This Saturday 4-7pm is Lakewood Fire and LHS Hockey/Alumni Fire and Ice event at Winterhurst. Full story on the front page. It provided hours of fun and excitement while helping some of our favorite people, the Fire Department, raise money for a great cause.

We celebrate Spring and all the events and things that come with Spring.

This issue of the Lakewood Observer is packed filled with everything from Monday nights’ Council meetings, to a look at Bad weather tornados, and how it can all affect us. While Lakewood rarely gets tornado we have had some moments in the past couple years with EF 0 going through Lakewood. Also the tornado of the 50s that tore up Alameda and surrounding area.

We look at legal rights with what’s up with some of opur favorite groups, places and things to do in Lakewood.

So go out and pick up a printed copy of the Lakewood Observer at over 100 places around town, including most large apartment mail rooms.
