Sanity And Good Food - Coffee Pot Reopens!!!

Many Lakewoodites have a favorite place for breakfast, The Shore, The Place To Be, Borderline Cafe, to name a few. There was a place called the Coffee Pot at Robin and Madison. That served a breakfast different from the rest. Their home fries became legendary, as did the burgers. At one point they were awarded best burger in town. But COVID put an end to that, and like many small restaurants, labor, and patrons became spotty.

This week it reopened, and the old Owner and friend Jozi has been working with the new owners to make sure the menu stays the same, for now, and the food is the same as it was. All of our diners offer something slightly different. The Shore for a great breakfast and political conversation. Tables often converse with each other, and the owners are a great part of the mix. The Place to Be, another great Lakewood family where talk is more business, in the heart of Downtown Lakewood, Borderline on the west side of town. All with slightly different ideas on Breakfast.

It is great to see the Coffee Pot come back with the best potatoes in town and great food, at GREAT PRICES!!!


This is "Jozi's Fav" 2 eggs, 2 pieces of meat, home fries, with Blueberry pancakes, $9.15(blueberries extra, and worth it)!

That's right $7.25 a proper price for a breakfast.

Great to see them reopen and doubly great to see the corned beef hash still on the menu. The best corned beef hash anywhere around.
