Second Lakewood Bar Closing Because of COVID-19

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Chanel 19 has announce the Beer Engine on Madison will be closing for a short time as a server tested positive for Corona Virus.

As of right now it is believed it came in from a guest, as opposed from somewhere else.

Last week it was Game On where 10 people reported getting COVID-19 while at a party there.

Isn't it great being a destination city? Like a little Florida, LA, NYC, Lake of the Ozarks!

LBM also closed down on June 25 for two weeks in an abundance of caution. This was due to a possible exposure in their core social group. All staff tested negative for COVID-19.

If every business took this as seriously as LBM did, we would be in a much better place.

Core Social Groups should not be going to bars. This is why the virus is getting out of control. Bars ARE NOT an essential business! S.T.F.H.!!!!!
