LO_16_06 Corona Virus - Pull Out Restaurant/Food Guide On The Streets!

I really want to thank everyone for sticking with us and stepping to get this issue and other issues out. The staff of the Lakewood Observer, Deb, Betsy, Margaret, Troy, Steve, Jacob, Brian, Rob, Scott, Buzzy, Eva, and everyone else are just the best. Their love for this city and this project is a joy.Not only did the paper get changed 5 times before printing, a large number of places to get the Observer closed or shutdown. But in this town people care and there is love and respect in the air.

TJ Butcher Block, Around the Corner, WestEnd, India Garden, Roman Fountain Pizza, Nunzio's Pizza stepped up and are including them in every order, while they last.

And then, Giant Eagle asked if they could help and took enough for every check out line, and more to replenish them.

This important not only has important news from the city about COVID-19, but also has the most complete pullout guide of where one can obtain food in the coming weeks.

Damn I love this city, our businesses, non-profits and YOU!

We get through this together, as a community, standing 9' apart. For now.

peace/love

Is there any plan to have folks deliver to homes?
Are there copies in the Cook Ave. lobby?
I could use some steps. :-)

Mike

Yes we are looking at home deliveries again.

And they are in our lobby. We still have offices in the building.

Some Lakewood businesses are really stepping up, I am forever grateful.

Jim, has any member of City Council penned an article in the print addition since the first of the year? The Observer is a great way to communicate with the community.

Bill

Dan O'Malley has written for us, and has the Mayor.

Bill, you know how I never push. I prefer to Observe. The classic observation was, Mayor Summers pulled all articles to us. And that gave Brian Essi, and Save Lakewood Hospital more room to write. Observation, big ego, stubborn, carries stupid vendettas, and can't but a clue. Meanwhile Brian Essi that would have been bumped by news from City Hall was sharp, aggressive, and knew and studied the rules.

You have been around here long enough. The Observer has no agenda outside of free accountable speech, and getting information out. Whoever comes in and picks up the mic, sets the town. Around here we love to call those people, are fellow Lakewoodites.

The paper is called the Observer for a reason. Some day people will get it. Maybe not.
