Police Man (Woman?) Hunt Underway In Metro Parks

A call went out about 11:20 for a car that had run into a tree down in the Emerald Canyon, by Lakewood Dog Park.

The car had been abandoned at it was believe the driver and passengers had headed off through the trees to get away from it.

Rocky Rive Police and Lakewood Police were fanning out through the area in an attempt to locate the driver and any passengers. Police at the entrances, and both sides of the river looking for the people that took off.

Be careful as the road is almost closed off, but passable.
