Many thanks to everyone involved in the Lakewood Observer. From the Advertisers, still growing, to the editors, photographers (some of the best in the city for over a decade), to the writers (each with their own style, topics, and reasons for taking part) to the illustrators like Rob Masek (who always seem to get a smile out of) to the delivery crew both in print and online. It is a true pleasure to know you all and work with each of you on this amazing project, that has been highlighting Lakewood life, fun and conversation for a decade and a half.

I have grown particular fond of award winning author Scott MacGregor's new series, :The Rockport Miracles" which appears in serial form in each edition. These fictional stories are based on Scott life and memories growing up in Lakewood, combined with a unique fictional twist that makes them even more fun and interesting. Scott's last book "Tunnel to Hell" which was self published and won awards in Boston, for being on their "Top ten books of 2016" is being considered for a movie out in Hollywood.

Isn't it time you joined this massive group of Lakewoodites seeking to make Lakewood history available, Lakewood more fun, and help all of us understand this city and community just a little better. It isn't rocket surgery, it is just living in Lakewood.

peace/love
