medical marijuana store on Madison

I just heard from some neighbors that a storefront on Madison will be the site of a medical marijuana distributor.

If this is true, I have some questions for the Mayor and Council: Why is it not in the new Family Health Center? It is a far more appropriate place for this type of service. After all, were we not promised the latest in world class medicine at our world class crystal palace on Detroit. Where was John LItten, Cindy Marx, Tom Bullock, Ryan Nowlin and Mike Summers on this one?

What is the address? Is it within walking distance of Arthur & Madison? I'm simply asking just in case I have an opinion at a later date.

It would make sense to dispense marijuana at a pharmacy just like other prescriptions, doesn't it?

Will the FHC even have a pharmacy?

Tom, Cameron, those are very good suggestions, in a "Pharmacy or Urgent Care Center", but in a store front? a convenience store? why haven't the "so called" officials? those who are in charge of implementing this directive, why didn't they come up with that idea? A kid will walk in to buy a (coke) ha, and a brownie, ha, and bag of chips and a dimes worth of relaxation?
