As I initiate my campaign for Lakewood City Council at Large, I am pleased and honored to have the support and formal endorsement of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25 representing approximately 100 Lakewood Police officers.
Lakewood faces many challenges including economic development, city finances, diversity, city services and maintaining and enhancing our quality of life. However, as I lifelong resident and homeowner I know that none of the issues facing Lakewood is more important to Lakewood residents than safety. In communities where safety is an issue, quality of life is diminished, housing values drop and residents flee. That's why having the support of the men and women who patrol Lakewood's streets and the trust and confidence they have placed in me is so important.
For those of you who don't know me, I have been a Lakewood resident all my life, (except for my college years at Ohio State), having attended St. Luke and Lakewood High. I am a homeowner on Wyandotte Avenue and am currently employed as an Account Executive at a large Cleveland based company.
During the upcoming campaign season, I look forward to rekindling old friendships and making new Lakewood friends. Your comments, thoughts, ideas and suggestions are important to me. Check out my Facebook page or website for updates and to make your comments known.
Lastly I would invite you to attend my City Council fundraising event to be held Thursday June 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Vosh, 1414 Riverside. Suggested contributions range from $30 to $100. Meet community leaders, supporters, friends and me. I look forward to seeing many of you. Everyone is welcome.
