Personally, it is a bit weird. Especially since you called yourself "Jackie" in the post. Posts will ebb and flow dependent on interest. No need to self promote, IMHO.jackie f taylor wrote:Mathew Lee, yes, just a personal promotion. am I right or wrong in doing so? A selfie?

Re: Storefronts for Rent
Did you write this in Trump-twitter speak on purpose?
I wrote "Lakewood Alive", with my question, they replied, they are currently working on comprising such a list of vacant storefronts, just like I had asked. Wonderful. I have friends from out of town, they cannot take a trip to Lakewood, and drive around searching for storefronts, such an inconvenience. How great a service if someone put that together, such a valuable service, all to better the Lakewood experience.

Well since no one else is taking the wheel, I guess I will. I will photograph & document every building in Lakewood, the new, the old, and the "What were they thinking"? properties, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Does anyone have photo's of the old Lakewood, it's commercial districts? I often wonder, what was in that location, in that spot before the convenient food mart was built, or the drug store, the auto part store? Lakewood North, Or those awful apartment building, scattered here and there, salmon colored brick, ugly modern, built in the 60's or 70's. awful, they should condemned, an eye sore, adds nothing but slum to the community. Hire an architect, redesign the property, do something.

Every time someone uses an apostrophe to make a word plural, a puppy dies . . .

In Fairview Park if you want to look for a space, to rent, to purchase, to lease, they have a web site which provides all that information, the address, the square footage, the lot size, the cost per square foot, the location, the owner, name address, phone number, and a map to view the exact location. Why can't Lakewood provide that same service? I'm not going to call a real-estate agent. I'm just saying. Can't we do better? Talking about the betterment of all of Lakewood, to improve the community. Guess I'll have to do that too.

There has been talk of this in the past. I know that one person I talked to in the last month or so wants to put this together, and also have a true study done of "vacant" vs "available". This was outside of city hall putting resources into this.
