Word of the Day

Post by Corey Rossen »

Prosophobia (from the Greek proso meaning forward and phobos meaning fear) -

An irrational fear of progress. The term is often interpreted as a concern that progress will ruin people's lives through the effects of changes and new advances, despite being a fundamental component of humanity and life.

Do you have one for, people not afraid of change, but want to see honest government more transparency, and more money for whatever change might come from City Hall's bad secret deals?

Just curious.

I am trying to think of the appropriate phobia for people who are afraid of what will happen November 9th if they win, but I will add your request to the list.

I have no fear of elections.

So maybe just "cranky for honest government and the best deal we can get together."

The real answer to your question about what happens after after the election is November 9, at my age, each day is a bonus and something to look forward to.

The elections is not to fear, I am talking about "what comes next" which, if you check your archives was my original (or near original) post on this topic a year+ ago. Still no answer from the against 64 people, we know there will be a facility if 64 passes.

What deal are you getting for a facility if against wins? What facility will be there on November 9th?

"At your age..." answer does not serve the community, but at least we now know that you were only thinking of yourself through these rants all along.
