No thanks, I'll continue as I have been, as will all the other trans people I know. And I'll continue to fight for the rights of those who don't have that comfort, like students.

You see, it's not that simple for most people. Maybe at the Southern Baptist church, but not in reality. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable in Alabama? Or perhaps Saudi Arabia? It doesn't matter, as the older generation dies out so will it's bigotry.

Well, if you really want to do your part to stop the wicked trans agenda, you better start boycotting! Pretty soon you'll be in a cave writing anrgy letters to the president by candlelight.

Unfortunately Stephen's not old. And based on all the yoga the guy does he's probably not dying anytime soon. Our only hope is that one of his cats off him while he is sleeping.

You obviously need to look up the definition of the word bigotry. Because someone disagrees with your opinion that does not make them a bigot or anti-whatever or against transgender. I would be more comfortable here if there weren't so many close minded liberals.

Oh oh...another thought came to me on this issue.
A much bigger issue...I thank these people that are allowing this bathroom issue...because you know who it helps...parents of special needs kids. Say I am at Target (ok I love target) and the family bathroom is in use and my special needs son needs to use the restroom. Do you know how scary it is for me because I cannot go with him or bring him into the bathroom with me. He cannot properly belt his pants, or even work his buttons. Therefore he has to walk out into the middle of the "area" with his pants undone and people stare at us. And when a kid has to go, there is no waiting for the family room. I am now able to help him, privately and without stares. I am able to make sure his pants are done correctly, his hands are washed and dried and I don't have to worry about creepy men offering their help.

Transgenders are not just men, they are women too. I don't believe that we should label them all "creepy". I have to wonder, how many of the people out there are anti-transgender, but, sit their ass in a pew every Sunday and worship God. The same God that said "Love one another as I have loved you". Seems to me a mole hill is being made into a mountain. It appears that some of the posters here would rather bitch about transgenders more than they do my most current post from yesterday about the rapes in Lakewood. What would put your child in more danger? Using the same restroom with a transgender or having your child raped walking to or from school? I think importance is in the wrong place here. IMO

Real Christians need to take their religion back.
"So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?"

So allowing school kids to decide which bathroom or locker room to use at school is a mole hill? Allowing sexual predators easier access to bathrooms and locker rooms with no questions asked is not dangerous? I think that you are missing the point here. The danger is not with a transgender person but rather the Pandora's Box that Obama has opened with his latest edict. In typical liberal fashion, you want to create a victim. The majority of the post here are not anti-transgender or calling transgenders names. Transgender people are human beings. The point you are missing. Are the dangers created by Obama's short thinking on this subject in order to accommodate less then 2% of the population. Again, the danger is not coming from the transgender community but rather the sexual predator. Who has now been given a greater opportunity to exploit children or women by Obama's edict. The last 7 years have been disastrous for this country, both economically and for our reputation as a nation. This last edict was just icing on the cake for most common sense people.

Target’s stock has fallen 20 percent — from $84 per share to $67 per share — since it imposed the pro-transgender policy on its customer base of families. That loss has chopped roughly $10 billion from the overall shareholder value of the company, according to a chart produced by Yahoo.com

"Target’s stock has fallen 20 percent since...."

Stephen are you implying that Target's transgender policies have caused its stock to lose value? Have you looked at the recent performance of similar retail equities in the same time period? (Macy's and JCPenney have lost over 30% in the last two months, the only two I checked.)

That "correlation" and "causality" thingy.... Stephen you're smarter than that....
