At last night's council meeting Tom Bullock introduced legislation to allow Lakewoodites to keep chickens. This would be a very progressive act, as many more cities are making it legal. If we are to keep up with them we must allow this which is also a very green thing to do.
So that we can get a better feel of how it might work and feel we created this sign for outside of the DowntowN Area. As I had a friend that kept them illegally for years and he lived in the original "Clifton Park" I made sure this was historically accurate.

Now a sign might be needed for that. Unless they had a rooster that was crowing, people driving by wouldn't know it was there.
My Aunt and Grandmother lived on W. 114th when I was growing up and most of the neighbors had chickens. It was a normal thing to do.
