I want to give a brief shout out to the City.

While I have not been crazy about the fact that a water line (apparently) broke on Belle between Franklin and Madison yesterday in the day and evening (since that meant no water), I was very impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by the City in working on both breaks. The City was working all night in front of my house without a peep. This morning at 6:00 a.m., they moved their equipment to let me out of my driveway before I could even ask. While I am not surprised by the professionalism of our city employees, I am thankful as it makes a very minor inconvenience much more bearable.
