Bad News for the Rangers

I just read that LHS wrestling coach Vince Curiale has resigned to take the head coaching job at Avon Lake High school.

Coach Curiale did a tremendous job with the Ranger program, and will be a tough act to follow.

That's a tremendous loss for the Wrestling program, but I think I know who might be in line for the vacancy.

I grew up and played football with Vince. Arguably, one of the kindest, most-generous people I have ever met. I had hoped he would have stayed on with his classmate Ron Lewis and coached the football team together. Ranger Pride, baby! LEL Champs - 1987!

More bad news for the Rangers, Basketball head coach Silva left the program this week to take a teaching and coaching job at Normandy High School.
