Wonderful Party--The Koenigsmark's commend the party planners!

Great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones, too!

Thanks to all that attended.

It was nice to see while we argue and go back and forth on the Deck, when face to face we are friends and family.

Jennifer Scott, what can I say, this was the best Observer party to date, and I have no doubt that it was the effort you put into this. All of your parties are fun, and thank you for bringing that attention to detail and fun to this one.

Tom Mahall, you and your staff made it easy and fun. I could not have asked for anything else.

Gary, Shane, Gary and Jeff, the depth of your talent, and serious effort of involving all made the day very special.

To everyone, this party is what this project is all about, fun, respect, and good times.

Matt Markling summed it up best. Safe Clean and Fun, who could ask for more.

Thanks again, I have a huge smile, and I owe it to all of you.

LO PARTY

Post by jennifer scott »

Gary,

How WONDERFUL to see you and your Dad on this cold winter day! The music was amazing! You are amazing! I would also like to thank Tom Mahall and the staff at Mahall's for doing an excellent job, to my parents, John and Joanne Brinkman for helping man the sign in table, to Sharon Kinsella who also helped with the sign in table, and to Jim O'Bryan and everyone who puts their efforts into the Lakewood Observer and into this great city of ours. I look forward to many more fun events in the very near future!

Cheers, and Happy New Year Jennifer Scott

O.K. Call me Hillary Swank ( I wish ) Thanks also to my wonderful husband and family for allowing me the time to do what I love and never complaining. Well, sometimes Jake complains but that's a whole other thread!

Thanks to all for the kind words. Great photos too, David!

Jim, Jennifer, Tom, this was all so blessed good....

I've often taught that the printed word can only convey so much. There is a depth of interaction face-to-face that so often seems to elude internet posters.

This LO thing is indeed, a most unusual project, and the 'Deck has become a most unusual place.

Good to meet so many this evening face to face.

The bowling was great, too! Thanks again for your kindness with Dad too. He loved every minute!

That sign over the group picture pretty much says it all - too funny!

One more thing...

I haven't been in Mahall's in a long time. That place is a gem. The lanes are really beautiful, the decor would be perfect retro if it weren't actually authentic. It is obviously well cared for. The outside sign is also a neon beauty.

Mahall's is classic Lakewood. Vintage. Authentic. Beautiful.

Jennifer - we are the Lakewood version of "Ebony and Ivory" kinda sorta.

Thanks to everyone who took pictures for those of us who couldn't make it -- it's nice to put a few faces with names. It's funny to realize that we form mental pictures of people, that invariably turn out wrong... except for Ivor, somehow that's exactly how I pictured him. :)
