I just started reading mine too. I will confess I thought this might be a little heavy but it isn't. It is fascinating and an easy read. Once I started, I had trouble putting the book down. I was also sharing with everyone what I was reading. "Did you know...." until I'm sure my family was tired of hearing about it.
We would love to have more people join in reading. This is a story of a Muslim, a Jew and a Christian sharing their religion together right after 9/11. I thought I knew a lot about these religions - but I was learning right and left. Seeing Christianity through someone elses eyes also made me think more about it.

It is an interesting, quick read. My wife is really enjoying it too, which is why I'm not done yet -- I can never get my hands on it! Like Lynn, I was hoping it wasn't too heavy. I suggested it initially because someone said we should read various holy books, and I didn't want to get into that.
I'm looking forward to the discussion on this.

I'm guessing that, while you may not (appear to have?) have a big group, if you take your virtual book club to a hidden virtual meeting room, having it disappear from view will not draw in people who might like to join the discussion for either this book or the next.
My feeling is that this thread, when you are ready, should be "Sticky" so it will stay at the top of the posts. It will make it easy for the club to find and easy for others to lurk along with the discussion.
I could also move the whole thread to the "Activities" forum, with a shadow in General Discussion. The problem with that is that sometimes other areas of the Deck are where discussion threads go to die...
What do you think?
