Okay, since someone started a "Photo of the Year" thread, I thought I would start one for "Civic Journalist of the Year".

My vote goes to Stan Austin - his reports on the City Council are the main reason I read the LO.

My vote goes to everyone. And I would highlight those civic journalists who cover LHS sports on a consistent basis in the paper and on the Deck.

My vote goes to the Burning Monkey, he gave up so much to gain so little.

Off topic - just an observation.

Looks like your typical spectator at Mid Ohio, Nelsons Ledges, or some similar track from the looks of the objects in the background (camper, banners, cup in hand...). Maybe a campground near a track?

Nailed it almost.

Day 5 Watkins Glen, turn 11, probably the IMSA 6 hour race.

Darn. I always wanted to race there. Never had the chance (read money).

IMSA - I can hear and smell it now...
