Looks like a similar, if smaller direcho effect may have hit us. A direcho is a straight line wind, while a tornado is a rotary wind.
I may be getting older, or more lazy, though.
On my way home this evening, I saw a bunch of stuff that could have been photographed, but the camera was back at home.
When I got back home, it was decision time. Should I go out and roam the streets like a good reporter, risking falling branches to get the money photo?
Or should I simply go into the house, kick off my shoes, and relax?
As a friend of mine once said, sooner or later, gravity wins; as I sit here squishing my shoeless feet into that plush carpet....
Glad you were out there Jim. Tonight, the great photos are yours. Too bad they are combined with tragedy, as so many good photos often are...
