The New Lakewood! Thanks, Tom, Ed, and everyone!

Post by Gary Rice »

I was inspired to put some pictures together today for a new photoblog.

Under the leadership of Mayor Tom George, and with Ed Fitzgerald, Ryan Demro and the rest of City Council, along with our school board, and the various city services people, and of course you, the public- so much has been done recently for our city that I thought we could take a moment to enjoy our achievements.

I hope that you will share with me a round of applause for all involved, as we celebrate what quietly working together for the common good can achieve.

Thanks all, for all that you do.

Gary-

Great photo blog.

Your comments on this election season have consistently been productive, positive, and constructive. You're one of those people that help hold Lakewood together no matter what the political disagreements.

Thanks.

Thanks for your kind words Ed.

Bottom line? You, Tom, and a great many other people work hard every day to make Lakewood the special place that it continues to be.

Thank you Ed, Tom, and to all of you, for your exceptional service to our community!

It feels so blessed good, just to live here!

Agreed, it is nice to turn focus on the positives when it is easy to get caught up in only the negative. Be proud, we have a beautiful city.
