Too bad more people in our country don't take advantage of that David!! Isn't that ironic we are trying to "create" a democracy in another country but so many here don't vote!!! Ivor be the voice of youth!!!

Well if I had to guess I think the majority of Republicans voted for Demro (aren't many of them in Lakewood) so he probably got that part right. What went wrong with his prediction is that a majority of the Democrats and independents voted for FitzGerald instead of George.

Wow, not sure where Ryan got his polling numbers, but if he paid for that service, he might want to think about getting his money back. Not even close.

As an independent, I can honestly say that, at least to me, political affiliation means absolutely nothing in a mayoral race. I only look at issues, record, and character.

The greatest thing about this election is that the Observer took care of the first two for me.

No sense in pilling on Ryan Patrick Demro.

Ryan in his own unique way has served Lakewood and Ward 2. There is not anyone in his ward that will say anything different.

I give a ton of credit to everyone that threw their hats into the political ring.

I would like to thank them all.

Ryan,
I have not been your biggest supporter and am not in your ward but too am appreciative for all the good you have done in Lakewood. Even though your youth can be held against you at times, it is really nice to see young blood so interested. There are no failures in life; the only failure is not trying, sitting on the sidelines, not voting, not being interested in real life. What we learn along the way of everything we attempt is much more valuable than whether we actually win or lose the race. You really should be proud of all you have done.
