interesting.
I read a story on the PD site about a Lakewood landlord who told his renter to remove his "home of a soldier" sign because the city requested to have it removed.
turns out that the city never asked to have it removed and that it's perfectly fine to have a sign like that up.
My street has always done luminaries during the Christmas time, etc.
I wonder what the city ordinance says about these, if anything. Just out of curiosity. They look really nice when everyone gets their milk jugs and lines them up in the street..!

Yes, candle in a bag or jug...as seen on X-Mas Eve on some neighborhood streets..I just love that...anyway..please be careful and sensible--and tend to your little bag(s) or jug(s)....I bet you could even find battery operated ones seeing that halloween is coming up...
I hope much comes of this--it could be wonderful!

Art Bell is a complete shill and OP.
You are killing me.

Sounds like a great idea.
About time we started thinking of peace and positive thoughts.

If it comes out of Art's mouth, I believe he is getting paid to float it.
He has lost all credablity with me.
This was a conversation at bela last night. in the end I think we all agreed, Bell total OP, Alex Jones total OP.
Should have been there.

So how many people in North Korea, Iran, Syria, the Sudan and China will be lighting candles tonight for the "International" Day of Peace? If anyone wants to celebrate the peace that we as Americans have known for most of our lifetimes they should go down Detroit Avenue to the recruiting station and shake the hand of the people who risk their lives to help bring about peace.
