That may mean there's good news on the way.
Dl - I heard the Israeli bees were speading it! What does this mean???
Evidently, it means that I didn't hear the whole story!

I thought they were going in the "we can fix this studying/cross-breeding with Israeli bees" direction, so I obviously missed something important...

BZZZZZZZZZ(clicky here)
Our extensive study suggests the Israeli acute paralysis virus may be a potential cause of CCD," said Ian Lipkin, of Columbia University, a senior author of the study, which is published in the journal Science. "Our next step is to ascertain whether this virus, alone or in concert with other factors such as microbes, toxins and stressors, can induce CCD in healthy bees."

I only have a problem with links long enough to break the layout.

I was in the process of posting this last night, got a phone call and completely forgot to get back to it. DL - you were right.

DL - this just in from: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/n ... ees07.html

After freezing bees, grinding them up, extracting the DNA and using genetic sequencing to identify every organism present, researchers have settled upon a little-known virus discovered three years ago in Israel.

There, symptoms of a mysterious bee malady came in the form of shivering wings. The bees became paralyzed and died. Thus the name: Israeli acute paralysis virus, or IAPV.

Researchers aren't sure how the virus got to the United States. They don't know how to cure it. Nor do they know if it alone can account for colony collapse disorder, which has killed tens of billions of bees since last fall.

Thanks for the link.

Sometimes I wonder if I hear what I think I hear, especially when I have news stations running all day.

This is a deadly serious issue, but I can't help but find the term, "colony collapse disorder" amusing.

Ask Jeff, I doubt it.

The LO TV has been an on going project.

We have finally found someone to head the project, and are working with some others to try to get it launched.

Bret

I don't think JOB ever specified WHICH Friday. We're working through some issues (damn attorneys...leave it them to try and anticipate and resolve issues when all anyone else wants to do is open the champagne).

This will keep you going until, the lawyers finish their "work."

Once they get enough! We will have a string of some fun announcements.

Thanks for asking.

Crumb in Birdtown - ROFLMAO.

Oh, how cool is that.

By the way, that garden is one of my favorite Lakewood spots.

Within sight of the R. Crumb apartment.

Tell me a 25' R. Crumb statue would not pull them in from all over the world.

Oh my, Jim.

They will come from the four corners of the earth to venerate the great Crumb.
