Last minute shopping!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

How about a list of good spots for last minute shopping.

I was looking for something off the wall and walked into Lion-n-Blue, and found a bunch of really perfect, different fun stuff. Hixson's is always nice for last minuted fun stuff.

Anything else?

Are there any Chef Geoff aprons left?
The perfect gift.

Rozi's is a definite must for those holiday libations.
Phoenix Coffee and Bela Dubby gift certificates are cool.
And I think the Ranger Shop is still open for the LHS alum on your list.

There might be a couple left, they flew off the shelf. I would imagine this means Chef Geoff is off to TV Land. I imagine even with me throwing away all those letters from the Cooking Chanel will not matter now with this amount of attention.

We have restocked LO Shirts, and the Library just got another couple hundred Lakewood and LO car stickers.

Next year maybe Mike Deneen dog sport hoodies?

Stopped in at Rozi's and asked if it was too late for a gift basket, as they were busy, and Gary said, "No problem, what do you need?" They also have gift cards.

Ken Rush called to remind me, "Hey OB, I got gift certificates."

Tickets at The Beck Center.

Donations in people's name to Lakewood Christian Center.

City Dweller for cards and "EmbaraseMINTS" with the picture of GEB on them.

The Lion and Blue is my favorite Christmas shopping venue. I was in there yesterday and did real well. The store is known as The Bear in my family because years ago I would never remember the name and I referred to it as The Bear Bit My Brother's Butt.
